Unsure of himself\, J unior puts more faith in his technological inventions than in good old-fas hioned Christmas magic\, much to the chagrin of his father. But\, when a s udden drop in Christmas spirit renders Santa incapable of making the great ride\, Junior must take the reins. Meanwhile\, a scheming\, miserly elf t akes advantage of Santa’s absence as he plots to turn the workshop into a for-profit enterprise. Together with his overly cheery elf best friend\, a gregarious penguin and a host of colorful characters\, Junior must lear n the true meaning of Christmas in time to save the day. Brin g your own or choose from one we provide. Memorization is not required.\n Sing a popular Christmas song to show off your vocal range\n Be prepared for a cold reading from the script.\n Bring a joke and tell it!\n\nBring all known conflicts. No absences will be permitted in the 2 weeks prior t o opening night. Read through will be held at 5:30pm on Monday\, October 1 0 in the Ashburn theater. Rehearsals will be held Mondays from 5:30 – 7: 30pm and Wednesdays from 6:30 – 8:30pm. Schedule may be adjusted based o n availability of cast members.
