Travers and the Wal t Disney Film\n\nBased on one of the most popular Disney movies of all tim e and the Broadway musical that played for over 2\,500 performances and re ceived multiple Olivier and Tony Awards nominations\, Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins is capturing hearts in a whole new way: as a practically perfect Broadway Junior musical!\n\nThe jack-of-all trades\, B ert\, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Youn g Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arri ves on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense\, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures\, but Jane an d Michael aren’t the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Not all cast members will be cal led to all rehearsals – an in-depth schedule will be shared after castin g. In addition\, camp day rehearsals will be held on February 9th\, March 5th\, and April 10th from 9AM-3PM. Absences from camp days due to not atte nding Loudoun County Public Schools are excused.\n\n\n\n\nTECH REHEARSALS  will be held April 22-25 and 29-May 2 from 5-7PM. All cast and crew memb ers are called to all tech rehearsals.\n\nPERFORMANCES will be May 4\, 5\ , 11\, 18\, and 19 at 2PM. Actors are expected to arrive at the theater tw o hours prior to showtime.\n\nTUITION: Mary Poppins Jr. is part of our edu cational theatre camp program. The cost to participate in the cast is $50 0. This covers all classes and rehearsals\, two tickets to a performance of your choice\, and participation in any special workshops or master clas ses offered during the rehearsal period.
