 ’s beloved king\, Duncan and assume the throne.  But Macbeth soon becom
 es increasingly paranoid the same will happen to him and as his worries gr
 ow so does his tyranny over Scotland until his own subjects (with the help
  of some powerful allies) march to put an end to his rule once and for all
