Call for Scripts
At StageCoach Theatre Company, we are looking for original scripts for murder mystery dinner theatre performances.
- Scripts should be written for 2-4 actors and include both men and women. An all-female cast would be fine, but, as we all know, an all-male cast might be difficult to cast.
- Scripts should include small roles for guests to play and interact with the actors. There should be at least 6-12 audience roles.
- Total duration of the show including dinner and (optional) question-and-answer period from the audience should be approximately 2.5 – 3 hours. This is roughly 45 pages total with 35-45 minutes per act.
- Show should have little or no set or technical requirements since shows will be performed in open rooms and restaurants with NO stage. The show is performed in the round amongst dinner tables.
- Murder-less mysteries are fine, too. They should be aimed at an adult audience.
- All of our murder mysteries are PG13. You can check our Murder Meter for variations.
