Meet our instructors!

Torie Dunlap
Torie manages our Education Program at StageCoach Theatre. This involves teaching acting, improv, and musical theatre classes to students of all ages. She also directs many of our musicals and handles the theatre technical training.

Linda Cirba
Linda teaches voice lessons, musical theatre classes, and is our resident music director for our youth and teen productions. Her ability to unlock the potential of singers of all ages is unmatched.

R. Aaron Thompson
Aaron works directly with our advanced acting students to help them hone their acting and improv skills. He also directs the StageCoach Banditos Improv Troupe as well as adult casts in murder mysteries, which he writes. Aaron is a prolific playwright with more than 30 scripts for murder mysteries and children’s stories. Aaron is known and loved for his original scripts and authentic approach to the art of acting.

Steve McBride
Steve McBride holds a Bachelor of Music in music Education from West Chester University and a Master of Music from Westmintser Choir College. Since 2000, Mr. McBride has been involved with creating and directing educational summer theatre programs. He has worked on over 50 musicals as Music Director, Vocal Director, and Pianist in schools, community theatres and non-equity theatres. Most recently as Music Director for RCP’s The Prom(WATCH Award Winner: Outstanding Music Director) and Fiddler on the Roof. Credits include Encore’s Freaky Friday and The Sound of Music, as well as Sister Act (LTA), Into the Woods (RMT) and My Fair Lady (HHS). This July, he returns for his third season as Music Director with Encore Stage and Studio and their production of Footloose. Since coming to the DC Metro area, Steve has become in demand as a vocal coach, accompanist, and conductor. Mr. McBride is also the Choral Director at Langston Hughes Middle School (FCPS), Reston VA and Organist/Pianist at Clarendon UMC, Arlington, VA.

Alecia Nault
Alecia Nault is an experienced actor, director, and WATCH award winner. She brings to StageCoach Theatre a passion for developing confidence onstage so that students go back into their real worlds with heads lifted higher, knowing that “all the world is a stage” and they are capable of anything of which they can dream.

John Sheridan
John is a writer, improviser, standup comedian, mime (yes, he eats cheese), director and actor.... that’s a lot! He‘s old and has a lot of years under his belt. John wants to bring the love of theatre into his student’s lives. He encourages them to reach for whatever stars they aspire too.

Megan Greene
Megan Greene has a BFA in Theatre Performance from Virginia Tech and has been working with STageCoach Theatre as an actor for two years. She is teaching youth acting and improv this fall and can’t wait to share her love of theatre with the kids. She performs regularly with the StageCoach Bandits Improv Troupe and is frequently cast in murder mystery dinner theatre productions with StageCoach.

Lauren Reese Quick
Lauren Reese has been a part of the StageCoach family since 2023, enjoying performing on stage, participating in tech backstage, and working with young kids, developing their passion for live theatre! She loves getting to watch the children grow and find their voices :)

Rachael McNutt teaches our Adult Acting classes and leads our skill-based acting camps for teens. If you’re looking to strengthen your acting technique or nail an upcoming audition, Rachael is the coach for you.

Diana Altenhof
Diana is excited to return to StageCoach for a second summer of improv, photography, and fun! They are pursuing a BA in Theatre and a minor in Education at VCU. They are a returning player with VCU Improv‘s "Crimes Against Fantasy" team. Diana has guest-coached StageCoach’s Bandits and Banditos improv troupes and assisted with various summer camps. Diana is an Ashburn native and an SBHS and NCA Cappies graduate.
Theatre is a universal language that taught them to be fearless, love loudly, and spread joy - teaching is their way to say "thank you" and give back!
